Belgian Trade Mission, jointly organised by AWEX, Hub Brussels and WBI successfully concluded. 14 Belgian companies, 6 from Wallonia region and 9 from Brussels participated to trade mission between 2 and 6 december. First of all, the representatives of participants companies attended to seminar “Doing Business in Turkey” at the Consulate Generale of Belgium in Istanbul. After the opening speech of of Consul General, Mr. Serge Dickschen, Ms. Ozlem Gokce, Chairman of Turkish Belgium Business Council of DEIK and Mr. Tom Croimans from H.Essers enlightened the Belgian delegation about the business environment in Turkey. After the seminar, every Belgian company conducted multiple meetings with different local companies to discuss possible cooperation. The delegation attended to the concert performed by Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie on the evening of December 3.
Belgian companies which were also interested in Georgian market arrived to Tblisi in the afternoon of December 4. In Tblisi, the representatives participated to seminar about doing business in Georgia. Thereafter, the delegation had B2B meetings with selected Georgian companies. The delegation attended the projection of a Belgian movie followed by a networking reception on the evening of December 5. The last day of the mission was also dedicated to B2B meeting.
All of the parties, Belgian, Turkish and Georgian companies benefitted from this fruitful trade mission. We are looking forward to the next mission to continue to support companies to work each other and create their success stories!
